Before users can access presentations or catalogs on a Mediasite Server using Moodle, you must configure the Mediasite Activity Module:

The Mediasite Module for Moodle allows you to access Mediasite presentations and catalogs from Moodle. Before you can link to or add Mediasite content to Moodle, you must specify the Mediasite settings:
*'''Mediasite Server''':Enter the URL, including the Mediasite root virtual directory, for the Mediasite Server you will be accessing using Moodle. Example: http://mediasiteserver.yourcompany.com/mediasite.
*'''Username/Password''': Enter the credentials of an administrator or user on the Mediasite Server. The default username is MediasiteAdmin. The credentials you enter determine the level of access you have on the Mediasite Server, that is, which presentations and catalogs you can see and link to a Moodle course.
*'''Unmask''': Click the checkbox to make the password visible. This feature is disabled by default to ensure password privacy.
*'''Ticket Duration''': Specify in minutes how long before the authorization ticket expires. The default is set to 300 minutes. The duration of an authorization ticket determines how long a user can view Mediasite content after they click a link in Moodle. Once the authorization ticket expires, users must click the link for a presentation or catalog again to view it.
*'''Restrict to IP''': Bind authorization tickets to the client IP address, that is the IP address where the request to access Mediasite content is coming from, to prevent link sharing. This feature is enabled by default. Clear this checkbox if all requests will come from the same IP address, for example, when using a CDN or if the Moodle and Mediasite servers are on different networks.

#Go to Site Administration > Modules > Activities > Mediasite Content.
#Specify the Mediasite settings:
::'''Mediasite Server''': The URL for the Mediasite server including the Mediasite root virtual directory, for example: http://mediasiteserver.yourdomain.com/mediasite.
::'''Username/Password''': Enter the credentials of an administrator or user on the Mediasite Server. The credentials you enter in the Mediasite options determine the level of access you have on the Mediasite Server. Click the Unmask checkbox to display the entered password.
::'''Ticket Duration''': Length in minutes that generated authorization tickets will be valid.
::'''Restrict to IP''': Bind authorization tickets to the client IP address to prevent link sharing. This may need to be disabled when using a CDN or if the Moodle and Mediasite servers are on different networks.
