This page says that it is about Moodle 3.11 but much of the content seems out of date and was presumably written by Julian Ridden, who ceased activity in Moodle some time ago.
The version of Font Awesome referred to is an old one. There is nothing about activating and using the latest versions. The screen captures are from very old versions of Moodle and the text refers to Moodle 2.5: "This filter is only available for Moodle 2.5 and above". This is ancient history!
Some of the links at the end of the page are broken or old. The Git page is from 2013. Maybe it's right. I don't know.
I would be glad to help update this page but I don't know where to find the latest information (which is why I visited this page in the first place).
