Capabilities/moodle/site:accessallgroups

From MoodleDocs
Revision as of 16:41, 20 February 2008 by Helen Foster (talk | contribs) (default capability setttings)
  • This allows a user to access all groups in the given context (system, front page, course category or course context), irrespective of what group the user is in. For example, a user with this capability set to allow can browse forum postings of users in other groups when the forum is set to separate groups. In Moodle 1.6 terms, non-editing teachers do not have this capability (as they are bound to their own group settings), but editing teachers do.
  • The default teacher and non-editing teacher roles have this capability set to allow.
