  • Moodle works with PayPal to allow you to charge for your courses.
  • Anyone who wants to buy a course must first have an account on your site. You might want to Enable sign up.

Set up PayPal on your site

  1. Log in with your administrator account
  2. From the left panel (the Navigation drawer) click Site administration
  3. Click the Plugins" tab and scroll down to Enrolments
  4. Click Manage enrol plugins
  5. Click to open the 'eye' icon of PayPal
  6. Click the Settings link to add your own PayPal details and preferences
  7. Click Save changes.

Set up PayPal in your course

  1. Log in with your administrator account
  2. Go to the course you want to allow users to access
  3. From the left panel (Navigation drawer) click Participants
  4. Click the cog icon on the right cogicon.png(above Enrol users) and select Enrolment methods
  5. From the Add method drop down, select PayPal
  6. Customise the settings if you wish
  7. Click the Add method button to save.
