On this page, it says "The administrator may also have classified some of the settings as 'advanced' ..."
Could someone make a link at that point that tells us where in Admin this can be done.
Thanks, James

"Outcomes" fields in Quiz Settings are not included in this page. If someone does include them, I would suggest addressing why outcomes of a quiz cannot be de-selected (removed) once they're saved. I just tried on a quiz that has no attempts, and could not remove them. Am I missing something?

Previously selected outcomes are greyed out on the update activity page, however they can be removed via the gradebook on the categories and items page. They will appear in the list either below or above the activity they have been enabled in and will have the same icon as that activity. Note that if you have renamed the outcome since you assigned it to the activity, the orginal name will be displayed. Deleting the outcomes from this list will result in the outcomes being deselected on the update activity page.

"Outcomes" fields in Quiz Settings are not included in this page. If someone does include them, I would suggest addressing why outcomes of a quiz cannot be de-selected (removed) once they're saved. I just tried on a quiz that has no attempts, and could not remove them. Am I missing something?

--UPDATE: This might be useful to add, after explaining the "Add Outcomes" section:

Removing selected outcomes for activities Previously selected outcomes are greyed out on the update activity page, however they can be removed via the gradebook on the categories and items page. They will appear in the list either below or above the activity they have been enabled in and will have the same icon as that activity. Note that if you have renamed the outcome since you assigned it to the activity, the orginal name will be displayed. Deleting the outcomes from this list will result in the outcomes being deselected on the update activity page. https://docs.moodle.org/31/en/Outcomes#Removing_selected_outcomes_for_activities
