Maybe it would be useful to include some text about the laws/acts for the protection of personal data in English speaking countries (with links).

For example, in the spanish translation for this page, I (German Valero) included links to the official government sites for the protection of personal data for Spain and Mexico:

• En México debe de hacerse lo planteado por el Instituto Federal de Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales (IFAI).
• En España debe de hacerse lo planteado por la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
