This plugin is part of set Poodll. Plugins from the set work the best when installed together.

Poodllis a set of plugins that adds audio and video recording functionality to Moodle, and also comes with a range of useful widgets to enhance Moodle activities. Using PoodLL you can build courses that turn your Moodle installation into something like a language lab.

PoodLL is open source and is developed by a couple of enthusiastic Moodle users in Nagasaki, Japan.

Overview

The PoodLL recording question type allows students to record audio or video, or draw pictures, in response to a question in Moodle. It uses a Flash based recorders for PC based access, but also supports HTML5 uploads for mobile devices. Video recordings are done with help of PoodLL's cloud server(Red5). Audio recordings can be done in the same way, or using PoodLL's standalone MP3 recorder. It is now also possible to draw pictures on a whiteboard and submit them as a response. The PoodLL Filter must be installed and enabled for any of this to work.
