The site research.moodle.net has been established as a point of contact for Moodle researchers. On that site there is a Moodle Research Collection containing Moodle-related research publications.

A growing, community-contributed collection of research into LMS (Learning Management Systems) and particularly Moodle.

Moodle-specific research

Academic, governmental, organisational research (mostly) involving Moodle (design, use, implementation...). Check here for details.
