Note: You are currently viewing documentation for Moodle 3.1. Up-to-date documentation for the latest stable version of Moodle is probably available here: Capabilities/moodle/course:viewhiddenuserfields.

  • This allows a user to view any hidden user fields (such as city/town, country or last access) on the course participants page.
  • This capability is set to allow for the default administrator, teacher and non-editing teacher roles and is not set for all other roles.

Note: User fields may be hidden by an administrator in Administration > Users > Permissions > User policies. None are hidden by default.
