Enabling RSS feeds

In order to make use of RSS feeds produced by Moodle, they need to be enabled by an administrator.

  1. Enable RSS feeds for the site in Administration > Site administration > Advanced features
  2. Enable RSS feeds for database activities, forums and/or glossaries in Administration > Site administration > Plugins > Activity modules

In Site administration > Plugins > Activity modules > Forum the RSS feed defaults for forums can be defined - either forum discussions or posts, and the number of recent articles.

In the settings for the individual activity you can then select or edit the number of entries you would like included in the RSS feed.
