Moodle 1.6 and onwards includes My Moodle as a standard option. MyMoodle is a customisable "dashboard" page in the student view, that contains filtered information for a particular student. For example, this might include information about courses, unread posts, new assignments, and upcoming quizzes.

Format of page
In the center of the page are courses the student is allowed to access.
The blocks on both sides can be customised:
- The admin can specify "Sticky blocks" from the Admin page that appear on every user's My Moodle page.
- The user can (if the admin allows it) add their own blocks.
- a) Use care when activating this feature as default. Students can add the html block for instance, and link to items or images that might not be approved.
- b) The user can include (in version 1.6) any site block, although the user may not have permission to view the block's contents.
Enabling My Moodle
- As administrator go to >> Configuration block >> Variables >> Miscellellaneous section setmymoodleredirect to 'Yes'.
- Configure My Moodle sticky blocks in Administration >> Sticky blocks
- Note: this replaces the top level site breadcrumb with /my"
