[http://moodle.net Moodle.net] (previously known as MOOCH) is the Moodle.org Open Community Hub - a directory of courses for download or to enrol in.

Mooch is the Moodle.org hub. Many Moodle sites register to Mooch. They can publish courses for download or list them as enrollable.
==How do we get onto Moodle.net?==

With [http://hub.moodle.org Mooch], you can search for courses:
* EITHER go to [http://moodle.net moodle.net]
* to study a new domain
* OR ensure your Moodle site is registered with Moodle.net in ''Settings > Site administration > Registration'' then add the [[Community finder block]] to courses on your site
* to participate to a community
* to download and install on your Moodle site

Unfortunately, as you will note if you visit MOOCH, there is often no way to know whether the courses available will work in your Moodle, because you can't import a Moodle 2.0 course into a 1.9 Moodle, and vice versa which makes the MOOCH, well, less than useful for for many people.
