OpenDesktop module

The OpenDesktop module will be released on 25th of september and will combine Moodle with an Onlinedesktop. You will be able to start your personal Onlinedesktop directly in Moodle and let your students watch it. If you are already interested now, contact us at david (at) edulabs.org for a sneak preview.

How to use the OpenDesktop

What you need

You have to have the Java Runtime Environment 1.5 or later installed on your system This is free software and can be downloaded at [1], but first check your installation at [2] If that is OK, you are ready to use the OpenDesktop module. We recommend to use FireFox Browser, as defining the size of the desktop works not in Internet Explorer.
