Preparing your Moodle environment

  • On Settings > Site administration > Advanced features:
    Tick the Enable web services checkbox (and click Save changes)
  • On Site administration > Plugins > Web services > Mobile:
    Tick the Enable web services for mobile devices checkbox (and click Save changes).
    Ticking the first box above should enable this also, but doesn't always.

Testing the app in demo sites

In the login screen, type "teacher" or "student" in the Username field and click the Add button. You will be logged automatically to a Moodle demo site for testing the app.


How to report a bug

- Create an account in https://tracker.moodle.org - Create a new issue, select the project "Moodle Mobile" - Add a detailed description attaching the "Device information" that can be found in the app (Settings -> Device info, you can send to yourself this information by email using the e-mail button at the bottom) - Attach also the App Log (Settings -> Development -> Show Log, at the bottom there is an email option for sending this information to your private account)
