Greetings everyone,

My name is John Dimopoulos and I am a teacher in Secondary Education in Athens, Greece. I teach Informatics to students in Secondary and partially Elementary schools, since 2003.

I have graduated from the Information Technology (Informatics) department of University of Piraeus in 2001. Now I want to complete my Thesis in order to get my Master degree on e-Learning from the Digital Systems department in University of Piraeus.

I have also worked as a Wed Developer and for the past 3 years I am updating my ‘know how' on that department, mostly working with PHP, mySQL and Javascript programming. I started programming in 2001 using ASP and JSP with SQL Server in many projects, some of which kept online till recently.

I am happy to combine teaching and programming and that's how I want to get involved with Moodle, hoping to contribute something to such a big learning management platform, created, updated and enriched by so many exceptional IT scientists and educators.
