Screencasts are ways to present instructional material, usually through a series of pictures with an audio track.

Screencasts in Moodle

Screencasts use the multimedia capabilities in Moodle. They can be embedded in most Moodle pages that have the HTML editor. A screencast might use a flash (.swf) file.

Where do I find screencasts about Moodle?

You may find links to screencasts at the bottom of many MoodleDoc pages with external links to Moodle screencasts on YouTube or other places, e.g. Moodle Tutorials.

A favorite is the UsingMoodle channel by Moodlefairy aka Mary Cooch.
