Template:Moodle 1.9==What is a grouping?== A groupings, in Moodle 1.9 onwards, is a collection of groups. Groups normally exist within a grouping, but it is possible to create a group which doesn't belong to any grouping.
What is the difference between a group and a grouping?
How do I enable the groupings feature?
By default, the groupings feature is disabled. To enable it, check the enablegroupings box in Administration > Miscellaneous > Experimental.
A groupings tab will then appear on the Groups page.
