A Workshop is a course peer assessment activity with many options. It was the very first contributed module, but it's been largely unmaintained for a long time except for emergency fixes by various developers to keep it operational. The default is to hide it in the site administration > modules > manage activities. Other modules such as assignment have some of its functionality.

Workshop allows participants to assess each other's projects, as well as exemplar projects, in a number of ways. It also coordinates the collection and distribution of these assessments.

Please see Development:Workshop 2.0 specification.
