Forum ratings allow either the teacher and/or students to evaluate posts in a forum.

When enabled by the teacher for a forum, a pull down menu appears next to "Rate this post". This is a scale that the teacher has selected in the Forum settings. The rating can become part of the Gradebook.

Tips and Tricks

  • Not all your students are seeing stars? It is all about their browser settings, language and installed fonts.
    • If this is a problem, stick with the basics in you scale. Perhaps create a scale that uses Numbers and words.
