Editing settings

From MoodleDocs

For every context in Moodle there are one or more pages of settings that impact it Remember the basic structure of Moodle has a hierarchy of contexts that work with roles.

Thus there maybe a site setting that affects what a teacher will see or have available in any course. Or a teacher may set up one quiz that a student can take many times, and another quiz with the same questions that a student can only take once.

There are two primary areas where settings can be found: The Settings block and the Navigation block. However, clicking on a context, say a Lesson, may change what appears in both these blocks. With"Editing turned on", clicking on the update icon (the hand with a pencil), will usually take the teacher to a settings page for that context link.
