Moodle events are face to face and synchronous virtual gatherings of Moodlers that take place all over the world.  They are sponsored by a wide variety of organizations, can be general or focus upon specific topics or user groups.  Sometimes these are called '''Moodle Moots'''.

Moodle events are face to face and synchronous virtual gatherings of Moodlers that take place all over the world. They are sponsored by a wide variety of organizations, can be general or focus upon specific topics or user groups. Sometimes these are called Moodle Moots.
