Roles for individuals can be changed within the context of a particular assignment. This is done under the Assignment settings link (Update this Assignment button). There are "Locally assigned roles" and "Override Roles" tabs to assist the teacher with this potential.


Changing a users role enable possibilities such as students being given permission to grade assignments.
