Template:MoodleDocs development

MoodleDocs now authenticates against moodle.org i.e. your moodle.org username and password are required to login to MoodleDocs.

Full name usage

When you first login to MoodleDocs, a check will be performed to determine whether your full name already exists. If so, you will be allocated a full name suffixed with 2 (or 3, 4 etc.).

User page redirects

If you have made a number of contributions to MoodleDocs prior to the authentication change, you may wish to redirect your old user and talk pages to your permanent user and talk pages. If so, please copy the text then add a redirect to your old user and talk pages using #REDIRECT [[User:Full name]] and #REDIRECT [[User talk:Full name]].

Profile updates

Please note that you may update your email address via your moodle.org profile page and the change will be reflected in MoodleDocs. However, if you update your full name then the change will NOT be reflected in MoodleDocs.

Bugs

Please report any MoodleDocs authentication bugs in the Moodle bug tracker, selecting the component "documentation".
