Moodle is Free, Open Source software (read our GPL licence).

Moodle is available in a variety of download packages for installing on your own server. Other ways to get Moodle include downloading Moodle via CVS and via a third-party integrated distribution such as Debian or Cpanel.

A large number of additional modules and plugins, themes and language packs are also available for download.

Please help us promote education and develop Moodle further by donating to the Moodle project or by choosing one of the many Moodle Partners for added services such as hosting or consulting.
