Template:Moodle.org improvements Moodle is Free, Open Source software (read our GPL licence).

Moodle is available in a variety of download packages for installing on your own server. Other ways to get Moodle include downloading Moodle via CVS and via a third-party integrated distribution such as Debian or Cpanel.

A large number of additional modules and plugins, themes and language packs are also available for download.
