The message seems totally irrelevant: what course id? I'm not in a course, I'm in a question bank (originally coming from a course) | |||
How I got there: in the course containing a quiz, I selected Course Administration > Question bank > export, then in the page I selected the question bank in the combo-box. | |||
The question bank is inside a category I created (not the "Default for..." categories). | |||

I am getting the same error while trying to create a new weblink in 2.0. Any ideas?
I figured out my own sleepwalking mistake. In my case, I was (don't ask me why) putting the hyperlink in the description instead of pasting the URL into the URL field where it belongs!
