Latest revision as of 21:00, 23 September 2007

I drilled down to this page expecting to find a detailed explanation of the use and effects of each of the variables and was disappointed. The content looks very thin; is this wiki new and have I arrived too soon? --Donna Hrynkiw 13:45, 15 November 2006 (CST)

Out of date

I see Donna's post but I would say these topics are for developers. The site administration blocks handle these things now. I believe these are variables in the Moodle php code. This page is out of date as per 1.8 and perhaps from 1.6 onward. These belong in the developer: area not in admin. My opinion :) --Chris collman 16:18, 22 September 2007 (CDT)

Actually this page is not intended for developers but for administrators of Moodle 1.6 sites, who have a Variables page which links to this page in the documentation. Moodle 1.7 onwards has an improved and expanded site administration, and the variables listed on this page are available elsewhere (see Location of admin settings in 1.7). --Helen Foster 15:17, 23 September 2007 (CDT)
