Confusing / unclear wording...
Statistics - GU, Jan 11, although this could probably go into 'reports' it should sit here since it appears in the Site administration->Server-> menu,

check this for Moodle 2
"check ''Administration > Modules'' for any old hidden modules in the database which miss the files in the ''moodle/mod'' folder on your server"

Not clear what the above sentence means...

"check ''Administration > Modules'' for any ... hidden modules"
- OK, this part's fine - can look at the eye icon.

"old"
- what does that mean in this context?  How can it be checked?

"miss the files"
- what does that mean?    How can it be checked?

The sentence talks about hidden modules and old modules and suggests to check their existance in the database, so not only with the eye-icon. It means to look in your database with e.g.phpmyadmin or another database managing tool if there are tables left from modules you don't have anymore and therefore the scripts in the /moodle/mod folder are missing. Hope this helps. Feel free to reword the article (off course, it's a wiki) --[[User:koen roggemans|koen roggemans]] 09:00, 5 February 2008 (CST)
