Helen, is Front Page the same thing as a Home page for a course or site. Or is this something to do with My Moodle. Think this should be a redirect.

Many functions of a front page are similar to those found in a course

is there a list somewhere about which functions are and are not the same and why there are differences? if so it would be extremely helpful to include that here in this article.

Moodle rocks !

I added some screen shots for the visual learners:) And tweaked the format. I suspect that New Users are going to come to this page and big picture with links will be helpful to them. Maybe an item in Front Page FAQs about differences..?--Chris collman 13:05, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

After looking at the page and its context, I would argue that it is not appropriate for a Tips and tricks section. The context of these pages is as an overview, a descriptor if you like, of the many facets of Moodle 2. Mention things, but have a link off to more detailed pages devoted to that aspect. In this page a link to the Front Page FAQ, a link to the Front Page page another to Themes and so on. --Colin Fraser 18:24, 4 August 2011 (WST)
