Are we keeping this page as it is and if so how will it link into the new format for activities? Or should it go into Using Quiz?--Mary Cooch 21:26, 26 September 2011 (WST)

Hi Mary, I think the content should be moved to Using Quiz as suggested by Tomaz. --Helen Foster 23:21, 27 September 2011 (WST)
Please No! Not quite as stupid as killing How_to_let_teachers_share_questions_between_courses (see the talk page there) but the same reasoning applies. This article works well on its own.--Tim Hunt 01:22, 30 September 2011 (WST)
Tim, thanks for your comment. After chatting with Mary, I think perhaps it's best to not be too rigid with regard to expecting all documentation about an activity module to fit on 4 or 5 pages. Thus we'll keep Effective quiz practices and also How to let teachers share questions between courses, as both pages look very useful. --Helen Foster 21:58, 30 September 2011 (WST)
Well to agree with you in different words. I think it is absolutely right to have a 'core curruculum' with basic 'how to use this module' information with a consistent structure for each type of activity. But then we need space for extra 'enrichment' material, which go beyond the basics of how to use the activity in various ways, and they are better as separate articles.--Tim Hunt 23:05, 30 September 2011 (WST)
