Why this page

I am not sure all new users understand the basics of a MoodleDoc page. Our help under navigation is for contributors and nothing for the timid confuzzled people. The first link should be for to this page, in my opinion of course :) --Chris collman 09:40, 27 September 2007 (CDT)

Initial comment

Somebody else has spiffy software to mark up a "typical" MoodleDoc page. The image of the page does not have to be readable (obviously the markup should be). Not everything needs to have circles and arrows and labels draw to point it out. Certainly the major areas (defined by the 4 sections on this page), then arrows to categories, template box, template image, and page index(TOC), should do it.

I know it is hard for me, but I would like this page to be compact. That is why I went with bullets instead of subsections. Once we are sort of happy, we can add it to the Help:Contents page as a link and to the handy help box list (top item of course).
