I think this Category might be trying to do two things at once:

  • List all Modules (in which case it should probably be pluralized to Category:Modules, and the same change made to Category:Modules (non-standard).
  • Gather articles on the topic of "Module" (mostly developer docs), maybe these could be split to Category:Module development?

Hi David, as most categories are singular, rather than plural, I think we should remain with "Module". Couldn't this page do two things at once for now, then split the category if the list of links becomes too long? --Helen Foster 18:30, 18 April 2006 (WST)
I don't think there's any rush to split them, though I do think that the categories that create lists of similar things, rather than link by subject topic, make more sense as plurals e.g. at the moment this only applies to Blocks, Filters, Modules, FAQs and that naming them differently from most Categories, makes their use (slightly) more obvious. I noticed last week that there were a couple of pages about the Book modules listed in Category: Module (non-standard), as pages are added for each Module then the usefulness of the category as a browseable, alphabetical index goes down I think. --David Scotson 20:34, 18 April 2006 (WST)
