Extending standard Moodle

A site can extend the standard Moodle by adding contributed code from a database maintained at Moodle.org.

A word of caution. While most contributed code modules are fine, they are not supported by Moodle.org. Over time, many contributed code modules concepts have been included in that standard Moodle package.
