The "docs" page for this page begins with the question "Looking for a Moodle you can play around with on your personal computer?"
That is a serious understatement of that application. Configured with a static IP address, a user/administrator has version 1.9.3 of Moodle up and running in minutes, and can begin offering Moodle-based courses as an individual or can partner with a group of similarly inclined fellow teachers to begin bringing Moodle to a department or an institution. I think it should be prominently featured in the specific-systems installation instructions page, and its potential touted.
