Should pages about blocks have 'block' in the title? For example, HTML block. I had already made that particular change because I found it confusing, but I note that most other blocks don't follow this convention. I suppose the wider issue is whether every page should have a globally unique and contextually understandable name. That is, if you see a page with title X, what would you expect it to be about, coming to the docs wiki fresh with no prior knowledge. I think most of the block pages fail this test e.g. Activities, Administration, Calendar, Courses etc. --David Scotson 04:16, 10 April 2006 (WST)

Titles of pages about blocks

Should pages about blocks have 'block' in the title? For example, HTML block. I had already made that particular change because I found it confusing, but I note that most other blocks don't follow this convention. I suppose the wider issue is whether every page should have a globally unique and contextually understandable name. That is, if you see a page with title X, what would you expect it to be about, coming to the docs wiki fresh with no prior knowledge. I think most of the block pages fail this test e.g. Activities, Administration, Calendar, Courses etc. --David Scotson 04:16, 10 April 2006 (WST)

Thanks David, all block pages have been moved according to your suggestion. --Helen Foster 17:12, 11 April 2006 (WST)
