Workshop in Moodle 2.0 documentation
There's a good PDF document linked on the page.  I've discovered that the Upload Attachment box does not appear for Workshop Submissions in Mozilla Firefox.  If your workshop requires an uploaded file, student must use Internet Explorer. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next version.
With 2.0, the workshop documentation should also be reformatted. Here is a todo list:
*Workshop template
*Break up this page into smaller chunks located on other pages (on the template).
**Workshop module - this page
**workshop module - traditional explanation of configuration settings
**Workshop phases Detail the 5 stages
**Workshop grading Combine strategies and final grading
**Workshop module FAQ Already exists

Looks to me Assignment module, Exercise module and Workshop module are similar.  Talk:Exercise module asks 3 questions. Would somebody try to help me by trying to answer one or more of them (I am lazy):).  I ran across a help file that said Exercise would be merged with Workshop that started me on the road to confuzzled. Thanks  --chris collman 09:01, 23 September 2007 (CDT)

:Hi Chris, hopefully the brief answers on Talk:Exercise module are some help. If not, please say so ;-) --Helen Foster 03:11, 24 September 2007 (CDT)

::Big help HelenThank youSure glad you have a bigger picture of what is what and what is likely to be a what :) No wonder I was confuzzled, lack of knowledge combined with a lack of context could be dangerous. --chris collman 06:21, 24 September 2007 (CDT)

I have to switch locations and will add some notes here.--chris collman 06:21, 24 September 2007 (CDT)
Brief, general intro page (appx 100-300 words; 7 - 20 sentences), visuals most welcome.
Point the user to items that can be found on the template menu (box on the right) and what they contain.
Workshop_module - G, Dec 10, excellent overview, excellent links, just need to fit the format for all activities as per template.

Is there a dummies guide to workshops?

There's a good PDF document linked on the page. I've discovered that the Upload Attachment box does not appear for Workshop Submissions in Mozilla Firefox. If your workshop requires an uploaded file, student must use Internet Explorer. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next version.
