IMPORTANT: Before Migrating
- It is highly recommended to perform a complete backup of all the wiki module as this migration manipulates databases and if anything should go wrong it could cause data loss.
- Once the migration process has been applied successfully the moodle installation will no longer be operational and an upgrade to moodle 2.0 is mandatory.
Step by step migration
Step 1: Download migration files
First of all download the migration package from (LINK DE DESCARREGA) and extract the files from the package.
Step 2: Copy migration files
Copy the wiki folder extracted from the migration package into your moodleroot/mod folder and replace all files when prompted.
Step 3: Run the moodle upgrade process
Once all the files are copied access moodle as administrator and the upgrade process will be triggered. After this process has finished there should be a message that clearly states that the migration has been successful and there won't be any way (button, link...) to return to the home page as that moodle installation won't work once this point is reached. If usage is attempted the the upgrade process will trigger and a message prompting to upgrade to moodle 2.0 will be shown.
Step 4: Upgrade to moodle 2.0
Once the migration upgrade process has been completed a migration to moodle 2.0 is needed. Please check Upgrading to Moodle 2.0
