From the link on your user page I just get "The details of this user are not available to you." --Samuli Karevaara 13:08, 15 August 2006 (WST)

Well, it's a link to my profile on Moodle.org. I guess it is only available to registered users. Oh well. I'm not that bothered.--Tim Hunt 15:04, 15 August 2006 (WST)

I'm registered on moodle.org, but the profiles without the course id in the URL are not visible to me. I see that Helen changed the link to point to Using Moodle course. --Samuli Karevaara 13:22, 16 August 2006 (WST)

Redirects

Hi Tim, Thanks for your question. A short, practical answer to your question about adding redirects, Tim, is that I'm sitting in a training workshop trying to find search for and link to stuff using 'intuitive' names (such as those being used in the workshop). If I can't find something using an 'intuitive name' then it makes sense (to me) to redirect it to where the content actually is. Redirects are not listed in searches, they do no harm, they are used like this throughout Wikimedia Foundation projects (for example), and they help create multiple pathways to content. Thoughts?
