Talk:Role permissions

The printable version is no longer supported and may have rendering errors. Please update your browser bookmarks and please use the default browser print function instead.

Notes for changes to page. Change name to "Role permissions" or dare we call it simply "Permissions" or some other variation. Introduction needed. Current page (a classic development space page) seems to be just an index page, similar to a category, with examples. I would like to see some information about permissions copied from other pages in the Roles template (Override permissions). The mod/ stuff is obviously development shorthand-jargon. This page should move up in template order --Chris collman 07:08, 20 February 2008 (CST)

Hi Chris, please note that Roles permissions is specifically about capabilities related to roles, in the same way that Forum permissions is specifically about capabilities related to forums and Tag permissions is specifically about capabilities related to tags. --Helen Foster 13:32, 20 February 2008 (CST)
Thank you. I don't have as wide a vision as you and now I see "Permissions" is a Disambiguation. Still think it should be Role permissions, similar to the other pages you mention. --Chris collman 13:54, 20 February 2008 (CST)
