Well, I've already read this 2 times and still I don't get in my (limited) mind all the interactions / relations between all the entities commented along the article. Can anybody, please, do something like:

  1. Represent in a simple diagram the flow/s of information. What depends on what. What syncs with what.
  2. Explain how/when those flows happen (synchronously, cron...).
  3. Just reply this question: When/what is one user enrolled into one course?

Surely all them silly points but I continue not getting the "final picture" of all those things (cohorts, participants table, enrollment plugins, role_assignments, role_overrides)... working together, sorry.
