Its main feature is the ability to replace any occurrence of <nowiki>[[tag]]</nowiki> in that global HTML with the current tag being displayed, providing one simple way to link from every tag inside Moodle to other sources via standard links. It also supports the <nowiki>[[-tag]]</nowiki> and <nowiki>[[+tag]]</nowiki> keywords to force conversion of the tags to lowercase and uppercase in the generated HTML.
