OpenOffice (OO.o or OOo) is free office application suite available under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) for many operating systems. It supports the OpenDocument standard for data interchange as its default file format, as well as Microsoft Office '97-2003 formats - among many others.
It includes a word processor (Write), spread sheet(Calc), database(Base), presentation(Impress), graphics(Draw) and other programs and tools.
