Links to MoodleDocs

Moodle 1.6 will have a button on each page that links to pages in the wiki with the same path as the pages in Moodle e.g. the Forums index page will link to mod/forum/index. You can see this already on moodle.org and, from an administrator's perspective, on the Moodle demo site.

MoodleDocs in other languages

Moodle documentation is required in every language! MoodleDocs in other languages will enable many people to be involved in creating documentation. :-)

MoodleDocs navigation

  • Categories provide a way of automatically displaying a set of pages in alphabetical order.
  • Templates enable additional navigation, either on the right e.g. Template:Themes or above the categories at the bottom of the page e.g. Template:Course admin.
  • A navigation trail may be added manually e.g. UTF-8 introduction or using an extension.

Feature requests

Single Login

I just discovered that MediaWiki supports external authentication via AuthPlugin.php and now I'm very keen to implement it against moodle.org, so we have the same login username and password here as there. Better sooner than later if we do it. The problem is that the moodle username probably won't look so good here ... can we always display the fullnames instead? -- Martin Dougiamas
