Netpublish is a specialised Moodle module developed by Janne Mikkonen.

The tool allows users to jointly create a multi-page on-line document, like a magazine or (news)paper, that can be published to outside, i.e. non-moodle, users.

The tool allows users to add articles to sections defined by the teacher. The moodle HTML editor is used to create the lay out for the articles. Illustrations can be added to the articles.

When adding or editing an article, a user can define the status of the article (but only the teacher can publish), as well as select the teacher to whom the article is assigned.

The teacher has a grading option per article.
