Course completion tracking is a new feature in Moodle 2.0
Course completion tracking is a new feature in Moodle 2.0.  This page is for the teacher(s) who wish to use this feature.


The site administrator must first allow course completion tracking on the site.  Then the teacher must enable it in the course.  Then the Course settings under the "Completion tracking" link will mean something.

==Overview==
Course completion is similar to a course [[Conditional activity]].  It sets the conditions for someone entering the course and defines the conditions where the is considered completed.  Thus a course may only allow a student to enroll if they have completed the prerequisites of completing one or more other courses.


==Course prerequisites==
There is a great deal of flexibility in determining the standards for "completion"In these are first defined in the other (prerequisite) courses.
Course completion must be enabled for at least one other courseTeachers can enable course completion in the course settings.  


==Manual self completion==
Courses that have set standards for completion will appear in a list in the Course settings>[[Course completion tracking settings|Completion tracking]]>Course prerequisites.

Select any or all, with check boxes for:
Manager, Course creator, Teacher,Non-editing teacher
 
==Activities completed==
List of activities which have indicated in the individual activity settings a method for determining that they are complete.

An enabled check box and "After specified date" fields.

An enabled check box and a pull down menu to select 1 to 30 days.

Course completion tracking is a new feature in Moodle 2.0. This page is for the teacher(s) who wish to use this feature.
