Welcome to Moodle Documentation !

We hope you enjoy browsing and helping us keep Moodle Documentation current and accurate. As a first step, you may wish to put some information about yourself on this page. If you have any questions, feel free leave a question at the Moodle documentation forum. Or at talk, or on most any user's talk page. We are a friendly group.

Reminder: this is not a school site and is a reference used by the Moodle.org community.

Here are some more resources to help you explore and contribute:

Useful links:

How you can help:

  • MoodleDocs:Participate — ideas about how you can help
    • Clean Up Crew- picks up litter, fixes links, grammar, page formats
    • Promotion Gang- shamelessly promotes documentation with links to pages in forums.
    • Page Advocates - adopts pages in their area of interest and improves them.
    • Documentation Group - honorary editors who help others and improve documentation
  • Pages that need more information - we call them stubs
  • Pick a random page - see something off your normal path

Additional tips...

  • Please sign and date your messages on talk pages with (~~~~) or use the Signature Icon.png opn the edit toolbar.
  • Delete this message by removing {{WelcomeToMoodleDocs}} on the edit tab.

  • You can always test things in the Sandbox.
  • Use the page comment (Talk pages) to ask a question about the page.
  • Put pages of interest on you Watch list, get in the habit of checking "my watchlist".

Good luck, and have fun !
