Moodle1.6

LAMS stands for Learning Activity Managment System and is used for designing, managing and delivering online collaborative learning activities. This is done through a visual authoring environment for creating sequences of learning activities. These activities can include a range of individual tasks, small group work and whole class activities based on both content and collaboration.

It is a standard module and is a type of course activity in Moodle 1.6.
