As Moodle has matured, there are more robust ways to manage student enrollments in a course. The enrolment key was one of the first. The potential importance of the role of Keyholder has diminished because of these other methods of enrolling and unenrolling students. However, the addition of role creation and contextual permissions or contextual role assignments, gives a new options for those sites who need this kind of role. --Chris collman 12:25, 21 July 2008 (CDT)
