I work as a teacher and project leader for the Open Schoolgemeenschap Bijlmer, a secondary school in the Netherlands. My students are between 12 and 18 year old.

I have been using Moodle with a lot of pleasure since december 2002. I did the first translation of Moodle into the Dutch language and am still a member of the joint Belgian/Dutch translation team. More and more I am asked to present Moodle or teach about Moodle at other schools. Requests for presentations, schooling or advise can be send to me.

Next to my regular job I also help in my family's business of selling craft kits and craft supplies. Currently we mostly sell Mosaic kits and supplies like Italian vitreous glass, Millefiori, Smalti en mosaic tools and books. Currently I am also pursuing a career in Educational Science at the University of Amsterdam. My main interest is the development of ICT as a tool for learning. Less of a goal, more of a means. I hope to specialise in the subject of Artificial Intelligence in Education.
