The term K-12 is popularly used in North America as a shorthand for Kindergarten through to 12th grade. While not all countries have kindergartens or numbered grades, it is still a useful term to collectively describe teaching and learning with a focus on students from age 4 to 18. En el ámbito español equivale a enseñanza primaria y secundaria.
